Everyone Else Is Doing It

I never even check this thing, but in the spirit that it seems like everyone else updated i believe i shall too

lets start with the ever present injuries

Many of you have been asking...Deborah..What did you do to yourself???

well, heres a breakdown:

wrist- on the fateful evening of February the third, i was at winter drum line practice, when heated debate between drew and myself occurred.  We decided to settle the matter with a battle to the death on the next break.  Rules: no weapons, just your hands.  The break came upon us, and the battle commenced.  Drew, being Drew, decided that cheating would be the best approach and proceeded to throw a drumstick full force across the hallway.  I know, your thinking, a drumstick-how painful could it be? But next time someone is playing on a drum pad, stick your hand on it....then you'll know.  So the drumstick flies through the air and centers that knot on your wrist where your hand and wrist comes together.  it swells and bruises, and then we paint a floor for two hours, which didnt help.  Enter splint number one.  I got to the doctor about a week later and she puts me in two different splints for a week.  I went to the orthopedic doctor, and got to quit wearing the splints.  The arm is still a little stiff and weak, but recuperating.  Now drew and I shall have our rematch.

back-being retarded, i leaned over to plug in my keyboard chords and threw my backout.  Couldn't move for about two days, but im all better now

knee- so this is the real bad one.  Ive had this bump right below my knee for years-dont know when or how i got it.  Over the last year or so, it has started hurting off and on, and getting bigger.  So when i went to the doctor for my wrist, had them check my knee out too.  Turns out its a lypoma.  Jsut like a fatty tissue thats growing in my knee.  Not cancer ( i thought it was cancer).  But i still have to get it taken out.  So over spring break, im going to have it surgically removed.

yeah, SURGICALLY so thoughts and prayers would be appreciated

other than all that, life is good

Winter drum line is AMAZING i get to see my boys (and girls) AALLLL the time. when it ends i may possibly die.  But for now, im going to enjoy every single minute of it

i drove today for in car

it was pretty intense

i cant park

and i undercorrect

but other than that not too shabby

schools been ok

drumline has been great

but tonite im stuck at home becuz my plans didnt work out

and that makes me really depressed   

other than that....life is great

so we actaully did something in PE today.....

and having not done ANYTHING remotely physical in teh last 6 months.....

i can definitely feel it

and im coming to lynchburg tomorrow!!!

and my bday is in 19 days!
